Nexen Petroleum Well Recovery

Nexen Petroleum Well Recovery
LSE provided two cranes; LTM 1250 (300 Ton), and Demag AC 140 (170 Ton); on Nexen Petroleum’s Cote De Mar wellsite location, located outside of Intercoastal City, LA., in inland waters. LSE joined forces with Wild Well Control and International Snubbing Services on the well recovery process, assisting in the snubbing operations. The snubbing unit topped heights of 150’ high. LSE’s crane booms exceeded 200’ high, and worked from over 75’ away from the rig.

LSE Purchases New Terex
/ Demag AC 140

Terex / Demag AC140
In November of 2007 LSE will acquire another Terex
/ Demag AC 140. This
is a 170 ton hydraulic truck crane with 197 feet of maximum boom
length and 108 feet of offsettable jib. The AC 140 has
a second winch which is carried onboard and it also has rear
axle steering capability. This crane is unique because
it has a smaller than average outrigger width. The smaller
outrigger width allows this crane to fit into smaller areas that
most cranes of this capacity cannot fit into. This allows
crane rental to be done more cost effectively for the customer. The
Terex / Damag AC 140 will benefit LSE and our customers in many
ways.
